Frequently asked questions

What is Web Hosting?

Web hosting is the service of storing data that keeps websites up and running for users. Every single website that is online has a host server, and almost all use a web host to manage that storage. Not all web hosts provide the same level of quality, though. Uptime, and data speed and quantity of transfer are the best measures of a host’s success. You can often pay more to get data transferred in higher quantities, faster. Most web hosts offer unlimited bandwidth and disk space at a speed that is perfectly fine for small-to-moderate sized businesses or individuals. For companies with burdensome websites, they may need to seek out a more advanced web host.

A shared web hosting service is an agreement whereby each user gets a certain portion of total available resources. Multiple domains are hosted by the same server, which means that the server’s capabilities are split between multiple domains. This means that these websites will not experience as robust of performance as a website that has a dedicated server applying all of its resources solely to one website. If requests come in for multiple websites on the same server simultaneously, the server will only be able to transfer so much information at a single time. For low-bandwidth websites, the delays will often be unnoticeable, but for more burdensome websites, the delay can be significant.

A domain name is the actual name of a website, and every single website has a domain name. To obtain one, you need to purchase it through a domain registrar. Domains can cost anywhere from a few dollars a year to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, based on the contract and popularity of the domain. Every domain name is actually pointing to an IP (Internet Protocol) address, which is a series of numbers. Because most people can’t remember 10 digits in perfect order, domain names serve as easily-remembered alias for visitors. Probably the best known domain name is google.com, and Google’s IP address is 173.194.79.99… which is easier for you to remember?

This is an abbreviation for Secure Sockets Layer. This is a common protocol used to communicate information securely online. This protocol provides a safe path that runs between two Internet-connected machines or two machines on the same internal network. It is an extremely handy tool used by web browsers who need to connect securely to a web server, given the wild insecurity inherent in the Internet. SSL usually operates and sets up a secure session with little or no interaction from the person actually visiting the web site. You may notice the browser displaying a padlock or the address showing a padlock and a green bar – those are the hallmarks of SSL doing its magic.

We provide unlimited of email account, you can simple setup new account in Plesk control panel.

A virtual private server (VPS) is used for hosting websites (e-commerce, content, visual media) and software applications (portals, extranets, collaborative solutions, wikis, CRM). Unlike shared hosting, the data is isolated onto a virtual machine which is dedicated to the user.

The VPS is a perfect compromise between web hosting plans and physical servers, combining reliability with the high performance of a dedicated server — but without the difficulty of managing a server’s physical hardware.

The advantage of a VPS is that you don’t have to worry about hardware management — so you would not need to monitor the status of hard disks, RAM, and CPU. They are adapted to host most types of web projects that are moderately sized. We recommend using a dedicated server if you want to manage the hardware aspects yourself, build more elaborate architectures, create an infrastructure that includes a private network (vRack), and deploy other complex solutions that are not web services.

As a general rule, users with a growing volume of web activity either move up to dedicated servers, or Public Cloud solutions. These services offer more complex, flexible infrastructures that can adapt to a high level of growth.

All servers is connected by 2 x 10Gbit to our backbone, by default we limit bandwidth to 1Gbits speed to VPS. As extra service it can be upgrade to 10Gbit.

Follow node can be selected for GRE Tunnel:

  • SE / Our main backbone
  • UK / LONAP IX
  • NL / Local-IX / EVIX
  • DE / Local-IX FRA / MUC / BGP.Exchange / FysIX / FoGIX
  • CH SBIX / 4B42
  • US / FREMIX
  • CA / ONIX

Planned:

LINX
4FIX
KCIX
MICE
ERA-IX

For Web Hosting:

Server is connected by 10Gbit, and provide unlimited outgoing traffic for free. Fair usage policy is not allowed run file-sharing and CDN service.

For VPS:

VPS connected by 1-10Gbit, and provide unlimited outgoing traffic for free. Fair usage policy is case by case basic. But service is not for running 1Gbit+ for 24/7. If you need high 24/7 traffic we can provide this for cheap price.  But will cost more then 5$ month

Incoming Traffic: As incoming traffic used for our broadband customers we will have harder limit for this traffic. Fair-Usage will be based of average traffic used by broadband customer and X multiple. So will be around 5TB fair usage. If needed more we happy sell for 0.36$ per extra TB

For GRE Tunnel:

Our nodes global is connected by 1-10Gbit, fair-usage (based both incoming and outgoing traffic) is by case by case basic. Is different by traffic go over transits or our peering in IX we connected to. And different cost in different location. As we can increase capacity to connect direct to Tier-1 as DTAG/GTT / COGENT / HE / RETN / L3 / Arelion(Telia)

For VPS and GRE Tunnel whe provide /64 network by default. As extra service we can assign /48 network from RIPE. This network can be routed under own ASN by BGP or by our ASN. We can also provide IPv6 prefix from our ARIN space.

If you already own IPv4 / IPv6 address space we can route this to your VPS or GRE Tunnel. Directly under our ASN or by BGP session with customers ASN.
